Chegli School receive educational materials from Assembly
The Wa Municipal Assembly in the Upper West Region has donated various teaching and learning materials to Chegli Islamic Junior High School.

The Assembly gave out 40 Longman English Dictionaries, 200 atlas books and 18 dual desk furniture to the headmaster and staff after visiting the school over the weekend.
The donation follows a request made by the assembly member of the area and the staff of the school.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaji Tahiru Issahaku Moomin, who made the donation, urged teachers and community members to make sure the educational materials were well conserved and used for the proposed purpose of improving academic performance.
He said the government had made education a major priority and was working hard to make all Ghanaian children go through basic education, hence the need for the assistance.
Alhaji Moomin said children were the future leaders of the country and ought to be given the needed support such to harness their talents for national development.
He urged the public to desist from politicizing issues concerning education and development and focus on leveraging their efforts to engender development.
The spokesperson for the Chegli chief, Naa Issahaku Salia, also expressed appreciation to the MCE, the Municipal Assembly and pledged to ensure that the donation is used for its intended purpose.
