New Juaben SHS gets girls’ dormitory

An ultra-modern eight cubic girl’s dormitory with other facilities has been handed over to the New Juaben Senior High School as the government of Ghana’s Senior High School Intervention Projects (SHSIP) to augment female student’s intake.

Handing over the project, the Municipal Chief Executive, Isaac Appaw-Gyasi, in his speech expressed gratitude to the government for the kind gesture to the various second cycle schools within the Municipality, saying, this quick intervention made by the President to secure this edifice for the future leaders to enhance their studies and ease the double-track system.

According to him, this is one of the numerous infrastructural development, programmes, and policies that the NPP government is undertaking in the country and upon these called on all Ghanaians to vote massively to retain the NPP government come 7th December 2020, to continue the good works for the mother country, Ghana.

The MCE commended the Contractor for the good work done and charged school management, students, and teachers to ensure culture of maintenance to achieve its intended purpose.

Dignitaries present were the New Juaben South Municipal Education Director, Mr. Victor De Graft Estison, Municipal Education Public Relations Officer (PRO), Madam Matilda Botchway, Mr. Samuel Owadie Deputy in charge of inspection of schools(NJSM), Mr. Mark Ofori Frimpong (Headmaster) for New Juaben Senior High School, Municipal Chief Engineer; Mr. Charles Arko, Municipal Quantity Surveyor; Mr. Abdul Razak, Gyaasehene of New Juaben Traditional council; Nana Twumasi Dankwah, the School Chaplain; Rev. Hanson Aboagye Okyere, Nana Abu-Bonsara; the Consultant, and Mr. Eric Tetteh; the Contractor.
