I will fix your security issues - North Tongu DCE assures Juapong traders
The District Chief Executive for North Tongu District of the Volta Region has said that plans are far advanced to make sure that security issues in the Juapong Market are solved to give maximum security to the traders who have for some time complained about lack of security in the market.

The DCE, Richard Collins Arku gave the assurance when he visited the market to interact with the traders and market women on issues bordering them and their concerns in regards to market
According to the market women and traders, situations are bad that they need government urgent attention at making sure that issues of security in the market are addressed.
The market women say their fears are further heightened by the absence of proper lighting at the market, increasing their vulnerability to robbery attacks in the evening.
The traders said their concerns were critical and urged that they be dealt with; with the urgency it demanded in order to forestall any future mishap.
The DCE in his response indicated that, plans were far advanced to provide a security installation for the area to ensure a safe and viable environment for business to thrive, as has been envisage by the NPP government.
"My visit is to interact with you and to assure you that all your concerns raised are already being worked as my government is a listening government and will provide the needed facilities for you to work in a friendly environment", Collins Arku assured.
