Jaman South MCE visits BECE Exam Centres

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Jaman South, Hon. Andrews Bediako has visited some examination centers within the Municipality to have firsthand information about the BECE exams and to also encourage the candidates who are participating in the BECE Exams.

The visit was also to give words of Advice and Encouragement to the candidates.

The MCE and his team of entourage, media houses first visited DROBO SENIOR HIGH and OUR LADY OF PROVIDENCE. The MCE was welcomed by the supervisors and other retinue.

The supervisors briefed the MCE about the exams and visited the classrooms and the halls where the students are seated for the exams.


The MCE addressed the BECE candidates on the relevance of education as an impetus for a fruitful future. He therefore asked them to take their education seriously as they could become future leaders of this country.

He further said there is the need for them to concentrate on their books so as to come out with flying colors, and avoid any form of riots as these behaviors could distract them from achieving their goals. The MCE also reiterated on how riots could jeopardize strides made by the candidates and disrupt them from studying and bringing the best out of them.


The supervisors of our lady providence disclosed to the entourages about the number of Candidates writing the Examination. He further said 391 candidate registered for the examination. Out of 391, 9 candidate were pregnant and 9 were absent without any reason assign to that.

In all, the visit was peaceful without any casualty
