Daffiama shows improvement in IGF generation
The Daffiama Bussie Issah District in the Upper West Region has collected an amount of GHC94,946.10 as internally generated revenue in the first half of 2018.

This is out of the 2018 projected figure of GHC137,306.08 and presents 69.15 % of the total estimates.
The District Chief Executive made this known on Tuesday in Issa on the occasion of the second ordinary meeting of the third session of the second Assembly.
He urged the Coordinating Director and his team to reactivate the revenue tasked force to work hard to ensure that the Assembly achieves its target.
The DCE also stated that the Assembly received an amount of GH? 436,998.18 as the Assembly’s 2017 4th quarter share of the District Assemblies Common Fund in April this year.
This money he said was used in servicing some Assembly’s debts
The District Chief Executive for Daffiama Bussie – Issa Hon. Nadi Imoro Sanda also indicated that the district has been relatively peaceful and stable when it comes to security.
He said the district has not recorded any serious security breach in the first half of the year due to the cordially relationship with the people in all the Communities across the district and the hard work of the honorably members and the security officers.
However, he also indicated that there is a chieftaincy dispute in Jolinyiri but the security agents and district Security Council are putting up measures to curtail any disturbance in the community.
The deputy Regional Minister Hon. Amidu Chinnia whose was at the meeting on behalf of the Regional Minister stated that, is the duty of the Regional Coordinating Council headed by the Regional Minister to monitor and evaluate all the Assemblies to also report to the national.
He applauded the members of the Assembly for uniting to elect a presiding member for the smooth running of the Assembly proceeding.
He also urged the Assembly members and Chiefs to rally behind and support the District Chief Executive to deliver well toward the development of the district.
