Adaklu finally get DCE
Assembly members of the Adaklu district assembly have finally confirmed the president’s nominee Madam Juliana Kpedekpo with 17 yes votes out of a total of 19 votes cast.

The new District Chief Executive (DCE), in his acceptance speech, thanked the president, the regional minister and the assembly members for the confidence reposed in him to serve the people of the district.
The Volta regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Letsa at the swearing-in ceremony advised the DCE to be always guided by the oaths she has sworn, and apply herself to the relevant laws and legislations governing the operations of the assembly and also urged her to see her affirmation as a victory for the entire people of Adaklu.
The DCE noted that areas such as women and children development, water and sanitation, health and education are what she poised to improve in the Adaklu district “I will work her to help the system in terms of our social economic development, education, health care, gender issues, women and children, agriculture practice and water, these are the things that are really on my heart that I will like to work on “she said.
Madam Kpedekpo also pledged to work diligently with all stakeholders to bring the needed progress to the district
