NPP Primaries: Afram Plains South retains William Hor
Delegates of the New Patriotic Party in the Afram Plains South Constituency in the Eastern Region have granted William Hor another opportunity to represent the party ahead of the 2020 Parliamentary elections.

He lost to Eric Osei Owusu of the National Democratic Congress in the 2016 general elections.
William Hor who polled 307 out of the 512 total vote cast representing 59.96% will face the former Member of Paliament for the area Joseph Appiah Boateng in his second attempt to Parliament.
The other aspirant Jacob Zineyele also polled 202 with 3 rejected votes.
The Chief Executive Officer for the Ghana First Savings and Loans after the election said "I am convinced we were going wrestling political power from the NDC, we have worked hard for it, we have been trenches and believed the delegates has spoken. The next is to match up against the NDC and win the seat for the first time for the NPP".
He admitted that the contest was not easy "I want to thank my opponent for making me stronger, I want to also call on all NPP faithfuls, those behind myself and that of my opponent to come together as we approach the real fight against the NDC".
"In fact he make me run for money, he worked very hard... at some point the people even though they could unseat me but good has spoken".
He assured of working with the other aspirant for the good of the party and for victory 2020.
On the other side, the losing candidate Jacob Zineyele congratulated William Hor for a good fight, and promised to lead the campaign of the NPP in the constituency as he is poised to win the seat no matter who the candidate is.
"My doors are open every time for the candidate, I am ready to support the candidate with all I have. My position is to win the seat from the NDC at all cost no matter the candidate".
