Anloga: PWDs benefit from items and cash

Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the Anloga district have benefited from their 3 percent of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) to improve their livelihood and refrain from the act of begging for alms by the roadside.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, Seth Yormewu in his address told the beneficiaries that the items and cash is being given to them as a mean to support them financially and since they themselves requested for it.

The 55 beneficiaries received items such as deep freezers, industrial sewing machines, and cash ranging from GHs 500 to GHs 1000.

The leader of the PWDs expressed his profound gratitude to the government for the good works they keep doing for them.
