KEEA MCE inspects project sites

Mr. Isaac Sam, Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Komenda-Edna-Eguafo-Abrem (KEEA), has completed a two-day tour of various project sites in the area.

He toured the sites to monitor the level of work at various sites of construction.

The MCE was accompanied by the Metropolitan Director of Education, Coordinating Director, engineering team, contractors as well as some assembly members.

Mr. Sam first paid a visit to Komenda where a 12-capacity bathroom as well as 12-capacity toilet facility worth about GHc70,000 has been completed for the community.

Some of the projects he inspected were Government-funded whiles others were being funded by the KEEA Assembly, GETFund and other development partners.

Other projects were a six-unit classroom block at the Komenda College of Education, Practice Basic School, Aldersgate Basic School, and offices, stores, teachers\' common rooms and an Information Communication Technology Centre.

Mr Sam visited the Kissi market and gave the promised that a drainage system would be built there to prevent flood.

He said a six-unit classroom block with office, staff common room, store and toilet facilities has been completed at Abrobiano Islamic
Primary School to replace the old dilapidated building.

Mr Sam said work was on-going at Anweemu Kumasi Basic School and Ayensudo AME Zion School where six-unit classroom blocks with other facilities were near completion and a community health post has been completed at Abeyee.

He asked contractors and workers to expedite action on uncompleted work.
