The structure was constructed at a cost of GHs 46,861.79 with funds from the District Development Facility (DDF).
Mr. Nuhu Issahaku Putiaha, the Municipal Chief Executive who performed the handing-over ceremony, said the structure had become their own and appealed to members of the community to collectively contribute to its maintenance.
The MCE urged operators of the clinic to re-position the clinic for it to respond to the general demands of the people, by providing efficient, effective and customer-oriented services to their clientele.
Madam Beatrice Kunfah, Wa Municipal Director of Health Service, cautioned operators of the clinic against doing things at the blind side of the Wa Hospital.
The Assembly together with the Municipal Health Directorate, donated a wheel chair, clutches, detergents, blankets, mats, plastic containers, and some medical equipment, at a cost of GHs 1,393.90, to assist the facility in its operations.
