WSUP donates PPEs to Ga West Assembly
The Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor(WSUP) a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) on Friday 23rd January 2021 donated Personal Protection Equipment (PPEs) and hand washing facilities to the Ga West Municipal Assembly (GWMA) to support the assembly’s Covid-19 campaign effort in communities and schools within the Municipality.

The Programmes Director for WSUP, Mr. John Alate indicated that his outfit in collaboration with Unilever and the United Kingdom (UK) Government was implementing a one-year programme to improve hygiene-related practices on Covid-19 among the vulnerable and to increase the capacity of institutions and service providers.
The items donated include 27 boxes of Lifebuoy Hand Sanitizers, 1 large handwashing station, 20 veronica buckets, 27 boxes of Lifebuoy bar soap, 200 non-disposable nose masks, and 200 boxes of disposable nose masks.
Receiving the items, Clement Nii Lamptey Wilkinson, the Ga West Municipal Chief Executive called upon all Ghanaians and the people of Ga West to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 safety protocols to help prevent the spread of the disease.
