The new facility will enable children who complete their primary education at Bessakrom M/A Basic School to continue to the JHS level without having to change schools, marking an important development in access to basic education within the community.

The commissioning and handover ceremony brought together the Central Regional Minister, the Municipal Chief Executive for Cape Coast, traditional leaders, residents, Ghana Education Service (GES) officials and teachers, among other stakeholders.

The intervention is expected to improve access to basic education and provide pupils with a more convenient and conducive environment to continue their education.

Speaking at the ceremony, the project proponents expressed appreciation to the Central Regional Minister, Cape Coast MCE, the chief and elders of Bessakrom, residents, GES officials and teachers for their support and participation in the commissioning.

The new JHS block represents an important investment in the educational future of children in Bessakrom and the wider Cape Coast North Constituency.
