The 30 persons received training in cassava processing and soap making as part of efforts at equipping individuals to be able to establish their own businesses.

The District Chief Executive, Samuel Kwame Agyekum who inspected the products during the graduation ceremony of the 30 trainees at Gyakiti urged the trainees to take the skills acquired seriously and establish themselves.

He indicated that skills development is critical to economic empowerment of citizens to be able to fend for themselves and also employ others after gainfully establishing themselves, and assured that the assembly through REP will continue to assist individuals in this direction.

Meanwhile, the trainees expressed gratitude to the government, the Assembly and REP for the training and promised to put their training into good use.
