Bismark Nyarko supports Prekumase Health Center
Prekumase Community Health Center in the Upper Manya Krobo District in the Eastern Region has last Monday received some medical equipment worth two thousand five hundred Ghana Cedis to improve on delivering quality healthcare to residents in and around the Prekumase Community.

These items were donated by the newly elected Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Upper Mannya Krobo, Bismark Tetteh Nyarko just a day after he was elected the Parliamentary Candidate.

Upper Manya is one of the deprived Districts in Ghana grappling with developmental challenges. But Mr. Bismark in his bid to find solutions to the challenges facing the District donated the equipment such as sphygmomanometer, weighing scale, a set of circumcision scissors, BP apparatus, Thermometers, different set of scissors, hand gloves and many more.

Presenting the items, he said, "I noted during my visits to the Communities the numerous challenges facing the District including lack of logistics and drugs at the Health Center which I promised to provide some equipment to this facility in order to improve on the quality health care delivery to the people of our constituency. I will continue to honor my promises to the constituents whether in parliament or not".

The Parliamentary Candidate who was accompanied by the Constituency Executives and sympathizers of the opposition NDC managed to secure some 439 votes to beat his closet contender the former Member of Parliament for the area Jeff Kavianu who had 250 votes to his credit.

The Health Center Senior Nurse Officer after receiving the items expressed her sincere appreciation to Bismark Tetteh Nyarko for the donation, adding it will help improve quality healthcare whiles calling on other benevolent organizations to come to their aid.
