Muslims from various communities of the constituency converged at her residence at her invitation to receive a five kilo pack of rice, sugar and some amount of money each neatly packed in white envelopes for them. This was in addition to their transportation.

 
Speaking with ghanadistricts.com,   she stated at the short but impressive ceremony that it was her widow’s mite to Muslims on their Holy Month of Ramadan as they prayed for the nation.

 
She encouraged them to be steadfast in everything they are going to do and to seek Allah’s favor upon the nation as the fasting is coming to an end.

 
She said, Muslims must appreciate the goodness of Allah, and poured out their heart-warming prayers to Allah for long life, good health and success in all her endeavors.
