TANO S: Community Police Officers receive bicycles

In a speech at the handing over ceremony, the Tano South District Coordinator of the National Youth Employment Agency Mr. Benjamin Adjei said the bicycles were released to enable them to work efficiently and to make them also to be able to reach the communities within their catchment areas.
In a presentation speech, the Tano South District Chief Executive, Hon. Bukari Zakari Anaba said government in putting measures in place to reform the Agency and hinted that the released the bicycles to them was an indication that the government is committed to modernize the Agency.
Hon. Anaba urged the recipients to work hard to support the effort been made by the District Police Command to maintain peace and order in the District.
He also charged them not to lord themselves over the people they have come to serve as their work is to compliment the efforts of the police.
In presenting the bicycles, Hon. Anaba on behalf of the government handed over the bicycles to inspector Lord Asante of the District Police Command, who intern handed them over to the beneficiaries.
