Mr Kena was speaking at a Townhall Meeting organised in collaboration with the District Information Services Department at Donkorkrom.

He said the Assembly had targeted about 10 newly constructed schools in the District including Zikpo, Kayera, Kamalo, Anidzi, Tsetsekpo, and Kokrobuta District Assembly (D/A) basic schools.

Mr Kena assured of governments commitment to providing quality education to all by putting the necessary infrastructure in place.        

He said the Assembly had also provided three-unit classroom blocks at the Donkorkrom Islamic School and the Kayera and Sihu Norfegil D/A schools.

He said the Assembly had plans to construct schools in deprived communities and encouraged parents to send their children to school.
