Ellembelle DCE cut sod to commence projects

A sod-cutting ceremony for the commencement of a One million United States Dollar infrastructural development project that would upgrade and address all facets of infrastructural needs of the Charlotte Dolphyne NVTI School at Sanzule in the Ellembelle District has taken place.

The District Chief Executive Kwasi Bonzoh explained that the projects are geared towards promoting and improving vocational education in the district.

They include; state of the art administration block, three-storey classroom block, three workshops, 200 capacity two-storey dormitory/hostel for girls, 200 capacities two-storey, dormitory/hostel for boys, rehabilitation of block laying concreting platform, rehabilitation of a catering block.



Rehabilitation of classroom blocks, and equipping all trades with modern tools and equipment in the district.

In addition to the above infrastructure development, the government would also provide the school with the following: 33 seater bus, train teachers to meet modern trends in technical and vocational education as well as the introduction of oil and gas courses to the academic curriculum.



The programme was chaired by the Paramount Chief and President over by the Eastern Nzema Traditional Council, Awulae Amihere Kpanyinli III. Also in attendance were various divisional chiefs, the District Director of Education and Manager of the school, Mr. Philemon Osei Sarfo.
