Fanteakwa South removes more dilapidated school structures
The Fanteakwa South District Assembly is responding positively to call by the District Directorate of education to help fix some dilapidated educational structures in the district.

District Chief Executive of the area Ernest Ofosu Nsutam interacting with Ghanaistricts.com revealed that the Assembly has so far succeeded in completing some new school blocks including a 6-unit block with ancillary facilities at Nsutam Islamic Primary, another 6-unit block at Nsutam Presby Kindergarten and Primary school; while a 3-unit block with ancillary facilities each at Nsutam SDA JHS, and Hemang SDA JHS are ongoing and expected to be completed soon.
According to the DCE, it is the wish of the Assembly to ensure all schools in the district have befitting school structure to motivate the students and give them the opportunity to have the fullness of time to study; as such they will not relent in their efforts to channel resources in that regard.
He noted that while efforts for more and improved infrastructure is to resolve the problem of dilapidated structures some of which are considered dangerous to the safety of the students, others are geared towards decongesting existing school blocks.
