Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Mr. Sayibu reaffirmed the government's unwavering commitment to bringing quality healthcare to the doorstep of the people. He noted that the establishment of the facility forms part of broader efforts to strengthen primary healthcare delivery and improve health outcomes, particularly in rural communities.

The DCE emphasized that access to healthcare remains a key priority of the government, adding that the new CHPS compound will significantly reduce the burden on residents who previously had to travel long distances to access basic medical services.

He further urged community members to take good care of the facility and support health workers in delivering efficient and effective services.

The commissioning of the Yaru CHPS facility marks another important milestone in the district’s development agenda, aimed at improving the wellbeing of residents and promoting equitable healthcare access across Wa East.
