All I need from you is to be made MP – MCE
Mr. Simon Kweku Tetteh, the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has expressed pride in his significant contributions to the development of the constituency.

He is now seeking the next challenge by becoming a Member of Parliament as he has worked tirelessly to drive projects and initiatives to improve the living conditions of the people.
“Right now, all I need from you is to be made the MP because I’ve done a great job as the MCE, and I know I can do even more if you give me the opportunity to become the MP,” he said.
Mr. Tetteh was speaking during the commissioning of a business resource centre at Agormanya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.
He listed over 80 notable projects that had been completed in the area, including 188 lockable stores and 72 market sheds at Agormanya, the GES office after 47 years of rentage, and the NHIS Office.
He also cited the rehabilitation of inner roads, dormitory and classroom blocks at Krobo Girls SHS, the school building at Ayermesu Kpeti, the school infrastructure development at Akro Sec Tech, furniture for schools, disbursement of disability common fund and
among others.
Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President and NPP Presidential Candidate for Election 2024 commissioned the business resource centre, funded by the World Bank.
The construction of the centre was commenced in May, 2021 and completed in 2023.
The centre has 11 guest rooms, 15 offices, 300 seat meeting spaces, and a restaurant.
The Vice President took advantage of his presence at the commissioning to clarify some of his policy plans and asked the people to vote for not just him as president, but also the NPP’s parliamentary candidates.
He said: “You see this beautiful edifice right here, it was under the Akuffo Addo- Bawumia led administration that made it possible for it to be put up and this and other many more developmental initiatives awaits you if you vote for me as your president and Simon Kweku Tetteh as your M.P”
He outlined his vision for the future, focusing on several key initiatives and commitments.
He pledged to introduce a new tax structure, aiming to foster economic growth and development.
Additionally, he promised to train a million young Ghanaians in software development and coding, acknowledging the importance of technology in the modern workforce.
He also highlighted the need for updates to the National Service Programme, which has been a cornerstone of Ghana's human resource development.
Furthermore, he proposed the introduction of a Ghana Card passport policy, which could potentially streamline the country's immigration processes.
He said these and many other initiatives that were introduced have had a significant impact on the lives of many Ghanaians and demonstrated the party's commitment to improving the lives of its citizens.
Dr. Bawumia emphasized the NPP's dedication to security, highlighting the hiring of over 30,000 workers as a testament to the party's commitment to job creation and economic growth.
