He said a district as new as the Suaman district is bound to face some difficulties but assured them that with their support and hard work, they will be able to surmount the challenges and forge ahead towards achieving development.

The new DCE who met the staff at a meeting to familiarize with them, listen to problems confronting the various departments and also spelt out the direction of his administration also assured them of taking measures to minimize their problems to give them enough room to deliver.

He called for effective collaboration between the various departments to help meet the developmental needs of their people.

Most of the issues raised by the various departments bordered on logistical and budget constraints that hampers their delivery.

Meanwhile, Mr. Isaac Mifatu of the Non Formal Division of the Suaman District Assembly was honoured for being the best worker of the Assembly in 2016.

For his award, he received an HP laptop.

Presenting the award to him, the DCE urged him to keep up the good work and asked others to emulate his good work efforts.
