Mr. Abdul Nasir Danladi was one of those appointed by the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo to fill in the vacant MMDCE positions across the 216 MMDAs in the country but needed approval from the assembly members to affirm his position.

He pulled 69% of the total votes cast during the process.

The Minister of Local government, Hajia Alima Mahama who doubles as the MP for the Nalerigu/ Gambaga Constituency was there to throw her support, as well as the Northern Regional Minister Hon. Saeed Salifu and his deputy Solomon Boar with other party executives to witness the confirmation of the nominee.

Mr Danladi thanked all who showed up making the program successful and also emphasizes the need for all to get on board in making the district one of the best.
