This follows the completion of the new model three units classroom block with two units teachers’ quarters, office and library with toilets and baths.

The school which was one of the schools under trees was initially provided with three unit block by the assembly to mitigate the sufferings of the students and their teachers.

However, since the primary school needed 6 classrooms, the District Chief Executive, Donkor Fuseini said the Assembly was compelled to seek the intervention of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETfund) for speedy resolution of the infrastructure challenge the school was faced with.

This, he noted was well received and now the school has additional three unit block that would take off all students from having classes under trees.

According to him, the population of the school is expected to grow with this additional infrastructure as such the assembly is looking forward to the provision of junior high school block for the area to ensure continuity when the children complete the primary education.

When the JHS block is provided, it would reduce the distance the students would have to walk to school because it would be in their community and this would reduce the rate of dropouts.
