He pulled 40 votes out of 40 valid votes cast by all the 28 Elected Members and 12 Government Appointees representing 100% by the Electoral Commission's rating.

As an Educationist and former District NADMO Boss, Mr. Osei Bonsu untill his appointment was the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairman for Asunafo South.

Prior to his confirmation, the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister Mr. Ansoma-Cheremeh admonished all Assembly members to eschew partisan politics vote massively for the President nominee to carry out the developmental agenda of the District.

He was quick to add that, out of the nine Districts where the exercise has witnessed a 100% endorsement so far, only Sene-East recorded 62% rejecting the President nominee for the DCE position.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected DCE Mr. Osei Bonsu thanked H.E. the President for the confidence reposed in him for his nomination and pledged to render quality leadership to enable the District have its fair share of the National Cake.
