The wards are equipped with the latest medical technology and designed with patient comfort and safety in mind.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com after the commissioning, the General Manager of the hospital, Mr Storms Wells, expressed his delight about the newly added executive wards to its already existing wards, adding that the group is still working tirelessly to improve and bring quality healthcare to the doorstep of the people.

He continued that, since the environment also plays a significant role in the health delivery system, it was imperative on the hospital’s management to birth these wards to meet the expectation of its clientele.

“I feel very excited, we all know that when we talk about hospital environment, it’s about healing or people recovering from their ailments. It’s not only about the medical therapy but the environment also goes a long way to add to how fast people can recover especially when the environment is serene, clean and conducive for the patient, they are in a good position to recover quickly”, he said.

He added that the brain behind the new executive wards was to afford patients the opportunity to be admitted into a ward the almost the same or probably better than the home settings to facilitate their recovery process.

He revealed that the executive wards are a one-bedded room with add-ons such as personal Television with 24hr DSTV channels, fridge, a microwave, curtail and a dedicated nurse stationed to quickly respond to a patient’s needs.

It also comes with sitting areas to enable the patient to have meetings and receive visitors while still on admission.

Head of Medical services of the hospital, Dr. Asore Addah, said the move was to ensure patients who access healthcare at the facility receive the highest standard of care in a setting that supports their physical and emotional needs.

“These state-of-the-art facilities as you see are designed to provide a healing environment that promotes recovery and well-being”, he added.

He opined that the executive wards and improved services were just the beginning of pragmatic efforts and measures outlined to promote the well-being of the community, adding that “we remain committed to continuous improvement, innovation and excellence in healthcare”.

On her part, Human Resource Manageress of the group, Mrs Charlotte Okyere, said it became obligatory on the part of management to provide very comfortable and convenient service in every part of the hospital’s operation.

Meanwhile, the Community Hospital Ashongman, is one of the numerous hospitals established under the group with others located at Oda, Kukurantumi, Ashaiman and Kaneshie.
