Planting for Food and Jobs Phase II is a five-year Master Plan for the renewal of agriculture in Ghana.

The PFJ 2.0 programme aims to achieve the agricultural modernization agenda of the government and attain food self-sufficiency in our major staples.
In an address by the District Chief Executive, Mr. Samson Gbolu indicated that PFJ 2.0 is anchored on the successes and lessons learned from the first phase of the Planting for Food and Jobs programme.

He added that the government's PFJ 2.0 is a shift from direct input subsidy to a smart agriculture input credit system linked to structured market arrangements.

He entreated stakeholders at the event to take ownership of the programme and contribute to food security, export promotion, import substitution, reduce food price inflation, and create jobs in the value chain.
