Bodi assembly works to increase health facilities
In with increasing access to health delivery in the Bodi District in the Westrrn Region, the Assembly is working assiduously at improving the number of health facilities in the district for easy accessibility.

The District Chief Executive for Bodi, Ignatius Akwasi Amankwah at this year’s town hall meeting held at Sefwi Afere announced that construction works on the Amoaya Health Center was completed, while Ahibenso Health centre is also almost completed and would be made available to the beneficiary community as soon as it is completed.
Additionally, the DCE said mosquito nets would be distributed to the entire populace in the district to help reduce the effects of mosquito bites, that leads to malaria.
In another development, the DCE informed participants that the government was concerned about the plight of persons with disability in the district and is extending one form or another to them.
According to him, the district registered 611 Persons with Disabilities (PWDS), however, 114 have so far benefited from some level of support in the entire district. These supports are particularly geared towards economic empowerment to enable them provide for themselves.
Meanwhile, others also received support for health care, education among others.
Hon. Ignatius Amankwaa, informed the gathering that a total of 558 households have also benefited from leap implementation programme in the district.
LEAP is a government social intervention programme for the poor to help mitigate their sufferings.
