The gesture is to give the candidates fore-knowledge on examination rudiments which would help them pass their BECE.
Mr James Eduku, Tutor of the Half-Assini Senior High School (HASCO) and a facilitator of the programme made this known to the Ghana News Agency at Half-Assini.
He explained that some of the Candidates failed their examinations due to minor mistakes and that programme was held to address those issues.
Mr Eduku said the four-day programme was attended by both private and public school candidates.
He said the programme was held in four centres in the District namely; Mangyea, Half-Assini, Elubo and MANS (Mpataba, Azuleti, Nzulezo and Samenye).
He said the programme was introduced in the area in 2014 by the Private Schools but due to its positive impact on their BECE exams, the public schools were also roped in the following year.
Mr Eduku expressed the hope that the District's BECE results would further improve this year.
The District Education Director, Mr Peter Blay Ackah Quayson, who confirmed this to the GNA said the District's BECE result had seen some improvement in recent times.
He said that in 2015, the results improved from 54.2 percent in the previous year to 54.5 and shoot up to 65.2 percent last year.
