Obuasi NHIA gets new office
A new office complex has been inaugurated for the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) in Obuasi in the Ashanti region.

The facility is expected to boost the work of the NHIA by ensuring access to affordable but quality health to all residents in the municipality.
Speaking to the Media, a Public Relation Officer for the Obuasi NHIA, Mr. Richard Darkwa said, he was hopeful that the new office complex will motivate workers to work harder to fulfill their mandate of providing primary healthcare to the people.
He therefore seized the opportunity to encourage residents of the area to get enrolled onto the scheme.
He also revealed that clients of NHIS can now link their NHIS card with the Ghana card.
According to him, this can easily be done by simply dialing *929# on any network and following the instructions.
He added that subscribers can use the Ghana card instead of the NHIS card when accessing healthcare.
