Eastern Regional Minister Pledges Government support during Blue Skies Ghana Tour

She was accompanied by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Philibert Selorm Fummey, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration between government and the private sector within the municipality.
During the tour, Hon. Awatey was taken through the company’s production processes and was briefed on its achievements, growth trajectory, and contributions to employment and economic development in the region.
The Minister commended the management and staff of Blue Skies Ghana Company for their dedication and the significant milestones chalked over the years, describing the company as a key player in Ghana’s agro-processing industry.
She also used the opportunity to listen to concerns raised by the company regarding systemic constraints affecting their operations and assured management of the government's commitment to creating a conducive business environment to enable businesses to thrive and expand.
Hon. Awatey further reaffirmed the commitment of the government under President John Dramani Mahama to the implementation of the 24-Hour Economy policy. She noted that the policy is designed to stimulate productivity, enhance industrial growth, and create more employment opportunities across the country.
According to her, the successful rollout of the 24-Hour Economy policy will positively impact companies like Blue Skies Ghana Company, considering their significant contribution to Ghana’s economy.
The visit underscored the government's resolve to partner the private sector to drive sustainable economic growth and development.
