So far, the three (3) kilometers constructed Nandom-Eastern-corridor-road that would link the Municipality to Jirapa and some parts of Lawra after its completion, was still at its first phase of bitumen surfacing.
The contractor in a dialogue with the MCE said there were few obstructions to their activities that included a family garden serving as a roadblock around the Nabugangn area, a leakage of water from the activities of a mini sachet water factory which was disrupting the road tarring and the obstinacy of some motorists who even after the placement of a road diversion signage to reroute their travels to their various destinations, were still not adhering to caution.
The MCE having taken note of these concerns took the necessary steps by meeting with the said individuals asking them to expedite action in ensuring the needful was done to facilitate an uninterrupted work on the road.
Mr. Nero proceeded to inspect the ongoing European Union (EU) feeder road construction from Tuopare through to Guo and to Zemuoper. The feeder road construction would be directly linked to the Brutu-Nabugangn-Ko highway after its completion in a few months.
