The DCE made the appeal when speaking with Ghanadistricts.com at the just ended Trustwork Consulting Limited Conference with MMDA’s in Kumasi at the Golden Tulip Hotel.

The DCE disclosed that, the Assembly has already allocated funds from its share of the District Assemblies Common fund (DACF) to help continue work on the facility which was initiated by his predecessor.

He noted that the people were yearning for a modern health facility since “the district always has to fall on other neighboring districts for assistance in cases of any emergency”.

He stated that, the Assembly has set its eye on health delivery in efforts to create riches in the district adding that “we need a healthy population to be able to flourish and achieve our development goals”.

Mr Sabo Laabiir urged Assembly members to rally behind the government even as it is working tirelessly to improve standard of living.
