Agona Tawora to be connected to national grid to boost small scale businesses - DCE assures

Madam Janet Odei Painstil, District Chief Executive for Agona East assembly has assured people of Agona Tawora, a farming community of plans to soon connect them to the national grid.

The DCE said the move will boost the local economy and improve the livelihood of the people.

She further said this will be the first time in many years Agona Tawora will be connected to the national grid to boost small scale businesses and industries.

“This is part of programmes, policies and social interventions that have been put in place by His Exellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo led NPP Governments Rural Development agenda aimed at improving the standard of living of the citizenry.

Am extremely grateful to President for this project which is going to open up for smooth transportation of goods and services”, the DCE noted.
