Saboba District Assembly holds First Ordinary General Assembly Meeting

The Saboba District Assembly held its First Ordinary General Assembly for the year.

This was in fulfillment of Section 28 (1) and (2 a) of the Local Government Act, 2016, Act 936 where the District Chief Executive is mandated to report on the State of Implementation of government policies and programmes of the Local and Central Government.

The DCE used the opportunity to brief the house about government flagship projects such as Planting for Food and Jobs, Planting for Export and Rural Development, Agenda 111 District hospital.

The rest boarded on Security, Education, Health, Social Services and others.

He also seized the opportunity to thank everyone who made his first 4 years in office a memorable one and hope to have a good working relationship with you all.
