Ga North Municipal Assembly Gets New Presiding Member

The Assembly Member for the Omanjor Electoral Area, Hon. Ellis Nii Akwei Addo has been elected as the new Presiding Member of the Ga North Municipal Assembly.

His election took place during a meeting of the Assembly, which brought together the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Municipal Director, Assembly Members, and other officials.

Following his election, Hon. Akwei Addo was sworn into office by the Magistrate of the Asofan District Court, H/W Jeshoshaphat Achina Nyarko.

Officials from the Electoral Commission were also present to supervise the election process and ensure that the exercise was duly conducted.

Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com after his election, Hon. Akwei Addo expressed gratitude to the Assembly Members and officials for the confidence they had reposed in him.

He pledged to work closely with all Assembly Members and officials to promote unity, cooperation, and the effective functioning of the Ga North Municipal Assembly.

Hon. Akwei Addo further assured the Assembly of his commitment to working hand in hand with all stakeholders in the discharge of his responsibilities as Presiding Member.
