Assembly commissions 3-unit classroom block at Kunsu

The Ahafo Ano South West District Assembly has constructed and commissioned a 3-unit classroom block at Kunsu Roman Catholic School.

The facility which was commissioned by the District Chief Executive (DCE) Mr.Joseph Bonsu Frimpong and the chief of Kunsu, Dr. Nana Agyeman Badu Duah I was handed over to the District Director of Education at a grand durbar.

The District Director of Education, Mr. Justin Kwesi Botor thanked the District Assembly for their support and appealed to the District Assembly to provide furniture for the schools and also charged the teachers, pupils and community leaders to take good care of the facility and make maintenance of the facility their priority.

The DCE assured the gathering that development in the education sector is a priority in the developmental agenda of the District Assembly.

He urged the people of Kunsu to trust the Assembly and government because the Assembly will ensure that every community in the district gets its fair share of the national cake.

The chairperson for the program, Nana Agyeman Badu Duah I expressed his joy for the project and pledged his support to provide land for the construction of a modern market at Kunsu by the District Assembly.
