11 year old Agbeko Emile awarded for antenatal care
The Ketu South Municipal Directorate has awarded a number of individuals including an 11 year old girl for their strict adherence to sending their children to seek antenatal care.

The 11 year old girl, Agbeko Emile received much commendation from the health authorities for taking up the role of a mother for her newborn baby sister, taking her to the clinic for antenatal care during school time and on vacations
Agbeko Emile stated that even though it was difficult especially during school days, she was determined to send her sister to the clinic regularly to ensure she gets the best of care for her well-being.
On school days, Emile would send her sister to the clinic before going to school.
Their mother on the other hand stated that the situation was so because she doesn't have time; adding she has to work hard to provide for the family thus the burden felon the Emile.
Others were also awarded for various reasons that were deemed very significant. For instance, a mother of triplets, Ms Mawunyo Ameakpe was awarded as a model mother who has followed the recommended feeding practice by the community health Nurse using the community ~Infant and Young child (C~IYCF) approach, while a man was also awarded as the best male involvement in C.W.C participation.
A 5 years old Sedoameda Joshua was also awarded as the child who has completed C.W.C in october 2017.
