The unannounced visit formed part of the MCE’s hands-on leadership approach aimed at strengthening public institutions and ensuring efficiency across key government departments within the municipality.

During the tour, Mr Fummey interacted with management and staff of institutions, observing their working conditions and gaining firsthand insight into their daily operations. The visit provided him with the opportunity to commend the staff for their dedication and tireless efforts in delivering essential services to residents.

Addressing the staff, the MCE acknowledged their immense contributions to national development, particularly in the areas of education and healthcare administration. He encouraged them to remain committed and professional in the discharge of their duties, emphasizing that their work remains critical to the growth and progress of Nsawam Adoagyiri and Ghana at large.

Despite their commitment, staff members also used the opportunity to highlight several constraints hindering their effective performance. Some of these challenges, they noted, stem from long-standing systemic issues that have persisted over the years.

Mr Fummey assured them that their concerns had been duly noted and would receive the necessary attention. He reiterated that under his Resetting Agenda, addressing institutional bottlenecks and improving working conditions for public servants remains a top priority.

“As we reset and reposition Nsawam Adoagyiri for accelerated development, we must ensure that our institutions are well-equipped and motivated to deliver. I am committed to working closely with you to resolve these challenges,” he affirmed.

The visit emphasizes the MCE’s commitment to responsive governance, staff welfare, and strengthening institutional capacity to enhance service delivery within the municipality.
