Nkoranza District Education Director ask teachers to halt strike
Madam Phillipa Banson, Nkoranza South District Director of Education, has appealed to teachers to rescind their industrial action over the distortions in the implementation of the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS) and return to the classroom.

She was addressing about 100 teachers at Nkoranza on Thursday after the personnel had embarked on a massive demonstration against the SSSS.
Madam Banson said the government was considering their plight and would put into place the necessary arrangements to satisfy them.
She asked the teachers to organise students for the 54th Independence Day celebration, which falls on Sunday.
