These health facilities are expected to bring relief to the people in health delivery instead of the usual challenge of travelling long distance to access health care in other places.
The CHPS compounds also mean that healthcare will be at the doorsteps of the residents and this will allow them to make the most productive use of their time.
Speaking during the commissioning, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Ghana, H. E. Robert Jackson thanked their partners: the Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service, and the Northern Regional Director, as well as the District Assembly, chiefs and elders, and all the community members present for the various roles played in the success of the projects.
He stated ‘’your contributions will continue to ensure that every Ghanaian will have access to quality health care”, and urged all community members to be actively involved in the upkeep and maintenance of the compounds.
H. E. Robert Jackson was later enskined by the chiefs and people of the WARIVI community as "SIMLI NIBOMA" Naa in appreciation of their gesture to them.
