AKYEMANSA: Health workers undergo COVID-19 training

A two day training program for health workers in the Akyemansa District (Ofoase Ayirebi Constituency) in the Eastern region on Covid-19 has taken place at the assembly hall of the assembly.

The program was under the leadership of the Member of Parliament for the area, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who doubles as the Minister of Information to help educate the constituents of the spread of COVID-19 outbreak.

In view of this, the health directorate was fully sponsored with a total of about 80 Health workers benefited from the program.

The District Chief Executive of the assembly, Mr. Paul Asamoah in his address to the participants of the program, thanked them on behalf of his Excellency the President and Member of Parliament for the display of the high level of professionalism in their various health centers since the outbreak of the pandemic.

The DCE also stressed the need for them to pay attention and capture every aspect of the training that will help them in their various places of work.

He again showed profound gratitude to the MP, for the swift move to get this training program done and members of the District Public emergency health committee.
