A 6 unit classroom block project is seriously underway at Goore in the Binduri district in the Upper East region to help pave the way to absorb more children into the basic schools.

The project which had already taken off in the community is an initiative of the Member of Parliament for the area, Noah Ben Azure and being discharged with the MP’s share of the GETfund.

Highlighting the project in an interview with Ghanadistristricts.com the DCE for the Binduri Assembly,Daniel Adoliba noted that the classroom block project is moving steadily and was sure the contractor will hasten up to finish off the project in due time.

He said such projects were necessary to help create access to education and ensure standard infrastructure in the system to boost teaching and learning activities in the district.

Meanwhile, the Assembly has procured a total of 250 Low Tension poles to aid in the expansion of Electrification Project ongoing in the district.

Under this move, more local communities and towns will be considered to receive such poles to give them the avenue to be connected to the national grid.
