The construction of the facility is to relief the people from travelling long distance to access health their needs at New Edubiase Government Hospital.

The project is to cost GH? 220,000 is being funded through District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).

Breaking the ground to start the project, the District Chief Executive of Adansi South Hon. Benjamin Anhwere reiterated the government's vision of investing in the people to ensure proper development of the people in the district and the country at large.

"The government places more importance to the health needs of the people in the country that is why everything is being done to provide the health needs of the people at all levels in the country; the NDC government led by His Excellency John Dramani Mahama is poised to bring development to the door steps of the people hence the construction of this project here". The DCE concluded.

The Chief of Menang Nana Kofi Bonsrah in his appreciation speech remarked "we thank the government especially the district assembly and the DCE for thinking about our health needs, we shall reciprocate this gesture come the 2016 general elections". The Chief remarked.

The people of Menang could not hide their joy but applauded the DCE and his team and thanked them for the project. 

Mr Owusu Bonnah the secretary to the chief promised that they will give every needed support to the contractor to complete the project on schedule.

The DCE was accompanied by Mr Tabri the district engineer, Hon. Kofi Yakah MP for New Edubiase Constituency, Mr Festus Addai NDC Constituency Chairman and other party faithful.
