The SADA Millennium Village Project (MVP) has supplied at least two primary schools in the Uwasi electoral area in the Builsa district with some 155 pieces of dual desk to facilitate the conduct of teaching and learning in classrooms.

Mr. Avamuti Bawa, assembly member for the area disclosing this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com stated that the gesture will certainly influence the realization of quality education in the area.

He said school children in the beneficiary schools will through this support find the comfort to be able to study effectively in classrooms.

The schools considered under this move included Uwasi primary, and Guedema primary schools.

In other related development, about 104 LV poles have already been supplied to the electoral area for the implementation of the Rural Electrification Programme(REP).

This is to ensure that more communities are connected to the national grid through government’s energy programme across-board in all areas of the country especially the deprived communities.

But Mr. Avamuti has pleaded for additional poles to be delivered to the area, since the ones already supplied could not meet the estimated project yet to be implemented.
