Sekyere Kumawu polyclinic receives items worth $400.000 from donors

"Restoring Hope" a Ghanaian NGO based in USA and Germany has donated hospital equipment worth $400.000. 00 to the Sekyere Kumawu polyclinic to improve the status of the hospital to make access to health care easier and better.

In an interactions with the Founder, Dr Kwaku Agyei Danso explained that, the core members of the organizations are Dr. Nana Kwame and Dr Nana Yaw Appiah all medical doctors and natives of Kumawu, and they had a foreknowledge of the predicament of the polyclinic therefore decided to extend their benevolence to the clinic.

He continued that, their donation is not going to be a nine day wonder, they would continue to assist the hospital in diverse ways.



The Director of Diaspora Relation at the Office of the Presidency Mr Akwasi Awuah Ababio stated that, his outfit would continue to liaise with Ghanaians in the diaspora so that people with such intends will not go through tussling and hustling before they are able to execute their intents.

The District Chief Executive of the area, Hon Samuel Addai Agyeikum eulogised the donors for their kind gesture to the hospital that will equally inure to the benefit of the greater population of the district and beyond.



He continued that, last year, they launch "Effie Ne Fie" Project with the zeal that natives of Kumawu in the diaspora would be enthused to throw their weight behind the development of Kumawu, and with what he is seeing, their aspirations had started bearings fruit.
