(NKAWKAW) KWAHU WEST :MP to construct school building
The MP for Nkawkaw, Mr Seth Adjei-Baah is to construct classroom blocks, provide furniture and exercise books for all basic schools in Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West district of the Eastern region.

The MP for Nkawkaw, Mr Seth Adjei-Baah is to construct classroom blocks, provide furniture and exercise books for all basic schools in Nkawkaw in the Kwahu West district of the Eastern region.
He said his plan would be financed by his share of the common fund, GETfund and other reliable financial sources.
Mr Adjei-Baah was addressing parents, teachers and school children at Asubone Rail and Ekowso during “My first day at school” programme .
He called on parents to co-operate and support the government and other stake holders to ensure the holistic education of the Ghanaian child.
“Government has taken a greater responsibility of the children’s education such as tuition, provision of infrastructure, text books and feeding and therefore parents should endeavour to contribute their quota to ensure the proper education of the children”.
He asked parents to ensure that children attended school regularly and also supervise them to work on their home work.
The Kwahu West Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Alex Somuah Obeng said the best investment parents could give their children is education adding that responsible educated adults usually contributed best towards the development of society.
He advised teachers to work hard to impart the needed knowledge to the children.
The Municipal Director of Education, Mr Noah Dwamena, advised the communities to provide accommodation to newly trained teachers posted to their communities.
The Municipal Assembly distributed soft drinks, cups, biscuits and sweets to over 5,000 Kindergarten, primary one and newly enrolled pupils in all the seven circuits in the municipality.
