‘Pencils of Promise’ constructs 4-unit KG block
The Assembly Member of Agbanuga Afiadenyigbaga in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region, Mr. Amos Kwesi Ametsimey with support from Pencils of Promise, a Non-Profit Organization (NGO), has constructed a 4-unit kindergarten (KG) block in his Electoral Area.

Speaking in an with Ghanadistricts.com, the assemblyman stated that the 4-unit kindergarten block was built at Anlo –Afiadenyigba E/C Basic School is about 95% complete, and it is expected to be commissioned in April 2022.
He indicated that the KG block comes with stores, offices, and toilet and urinal facilities among others.
He added that the NGO has also supplied 50 mono desks to enhance teaching and learning in the community.
He further highlighted some challenges he has been facing in his electoral area with regards to roads, dilapidated market stalls, uncompleted school building, street lights among others.
He said the uncompleted school building was started by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), however it’s been halted for over 5 years now which has forced pupils to use the classroom block, adding that it causes inconvenience anytime it threatens to rain.
He added that, lack of streetlights in his electoral area is causing residents to be attacked at night.
He therefore called on the government to intervene to help save lives.
