The South Dayi District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Kafui Semenu Bekui has advised the public to be circumspect in the use of electrical gadgets and naked fire to prevent fire outbreak at homes.
    
He was speaking during the presentation of relief items to Mr Stephen Ampah, sole fire victim at Peki-Avetile, by the South Dayi District Office of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).
   
The victim, who allegedly lost his personal belongings when fire razed his house on July 6, this year, received roofing sheets, two bags of rice, a bag of maize, a mattress, two rubber buckets and six drinking cups.
  
The South Dayi District NADMO Coordinator, Mr Habel Ofori-Kumah expressed the hope that the donation would give the victim hope in life.
