Nominated by President John Dramani Mahama, Mrs Tagba becomes one of the few women serving as a DCE in the Northern Region, marking another milestone for women’s participation in local governance.

Her extensive experience in local government administration includes serving as Presiding Member of the former Zabzugu/Tatale District Assembly and later becoming the first Presiding Member of the newly created Tatale-Sanguli District Assembly.

In her acceptance remarks, Mrs Tagba thanked President Mahama, Assembly Members and other stakeholders for their confidence in her, pledging to lead with unity, transparency and dedication.

She is expected to focus on advancing development and improving the wellbeing of residents as she takes charge of the district.
